Idaho/Washington-Various locations
We stayed at Blackwell Island RV Park. A very nice place, but few trees.
Blackwell Island which you can see just beyond the trees is near the Spokane River.
On one morning we had the treat of hot air ballons overhead.
CDA is pedestrian and bicycle friendly. Here is one of the trails.
CDA has a nice beach that was heavily used during the warm weather we had.
Downtown CDA has many fun and interesting shops and businesses.

This is the Coeur d' Alene River along a very nice bicycle trail converted from abandoned train tracks.
Bill sucking it up.
Another view of the beautiful Coeur d'Alene River.
Downtown Kamiah was a quaint little place with a non-touristy feel.
The site of the original drug store from the 1890's.
Now Kamiah may be small, but it likes expresso. This is a drive thru expresso bar.
On our trip to Lolo Pass we drove along the Clearwater River.
What is that girl smirking about?
At Lolo Pass there was a display of Lewis & Clark era tools, clothes and medicines.

And if you want to know what time it was, the clock tower can help.
One of the many bridges over the Spokane River.
Eons of water flowing over the rock in the area didn't change them much.
Towards the end of our bike ride we were treated to a nice overview of the Spokane River.
There goes a jumper now. The held their parachute in the hands as they leapt from the bridge.
The idea was to land in the bullseye below the bridge. Nicely done!
We attended a car show in the nearby town of Hagerman.
Ken poses with one of the local celebrites.

So many trout and so little time. These pics were taken at a local trout farm.
One one day we took a trip up to Ketchum and Sun Valley. This is Ketchum.
The weather didn't cooperate too well on this trip. This is part of Sun Valley.
Eventually, the sun did break out and this local character was happy to see it.
In our continuing quest to test Farmer's Markets we found the one at Sun Valley to be "upscale".
Bill got to go on a boat ride one day with Ken and Dana. This is the Snake River again.
In many places the water just seems to flow from the sides of cliffs.
Susan got a good picture of this Chevy hood ornament.
Ken and Bill at the Shoshone Falls overlook.
