Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Pipestone was quarried to make pipes like these.
Pipestone is rare and only about 12"-14" thick.
There was a interpretive walk near the quarry with a nice pond.
Along the walk was a small waterfall.
We stayed here at a casino RV park near Prior Lake, MN. It was hot and humid.
One small wing of the Mall of America and ahhhh... air conditioning!
The Snoopy Theme Park in the center of the mall was impressive with many rides.
This was the axe ride or something like that.  The kiddies loved it!
Minneapolis has a very pretty skyline, unfortunately this is the only picture we got of it.

Our trolley ride took us through some eclectic neighborhoods.
The Chain of Lakes drive took us by several beautiful lakes in the metro area.
