Arches National Park, UT
An early morning stroll on Park Avenue. (Really, that's its name)
Morning light and shadows.
Sheer walls and edifaces of Park Avenue.
The Gossips. (pssst, Did you hear about Brad and Angelina. They...)
Tunnel Arch at Devils Garden.
Partition Arch. Not too outstanding, but it was early in the hike.
A view between rocks at Devil's garden.
The BIG one. Landscape Arch. In the 90's some hikers witnessed a major part of it fall down.
Uh oh! Susan's not going to like this!!
The brave Susan taking pictures on the rock fin. Is she conquering her fears??
Navajo Arch was a little remote, but worth the walk.
The Double O Arch. Notice the smaller arch below the larger one on top.
The North and South Window Arches.
Bill just hanging around watching the arches form.
This is the north window arch.
An awesome view of the mountains from the Windows Arch area.
Turret Arch.
Balanced Rock. How does it do that?!
We stopped at the Firey Furnace area and were treated to a great view of the mountains.
Another nice view.
Canyonland
One of our first views of Canyonlands. It was cloudy so the pictures aren't great.
If you are tired of seeing rock and canyon pictures, take a break. Here's one of a tree.
Break's over here is another nice shot of a canyon.
Who else but Bill!
Susan walking down a trail to see the views. Beyond her it drops off into the canyon.
And here are the views from that location. That is the Green River in the distance.
This is impressive on a cloudy day. Think what it would look like on a sunny day.
Ok, the weather didn't get magically better. We cheated, this is a post card.
Post card.
Post card.
Post card.
Not a post card. A freak storm and fog rolled in suddenly. Just kidding it's a post card.
Corona and Bow Tie
Shortly after starting on this hike we had a nice view of the Colorado River.
Although the weather turned nasty on this hike, it made for some great pictures.
This is BowTie Arch.
This is our first Geocache find. The ammo box is filled with a log and trinkets. Fun to find.
Corona Arch. Look under the arch in the right corner you will see Bill holding it up for the pic.
Apparently it stands without Bill's help. This is Corona from the back side.
This is having fun with pictures. Nature provided us a face in the rock.
A view from Corona Arch. See that straight cut in the rock. The train tracks run there.
Flowers of Moab
We have no clue as to this flower's name. Big prize to the person who can
.
Prickly pear in Arches.

Moab Misc
Nice view of a nearby mountain the first morning we were at Archview RV Park.
Another nice view in the morning from the RV Park.
We went to the Red Cliff Lodge. Obviously, they have a nice view of the river and mountains.
And here is a nice view of the lovely Susan.
On our way to the Corona Arch hike we found these petroglyphs.
This one says, "I'm having a bad hair day".
This one says, "It is always good to have a big hand and a big shield". That could be wrong though.
Howdy pilgrim. Bill stands tall with Big John.
