Hot Springs, Arkansas
At Cloud Nine RV Park we felt like we were on top of the world.  Nice place.
We climbed up to the Hot Spring Mountain Tower, which gave us a great view of the town.
The buildings in the old area of Hot Springs had  a grand feel.
This is a promenade above the town that was used from the earliest days in Hot Springs.

We enjoyed an art and crafts festival in Hot Springs.  Lots of neat stuff for not too much money.
The Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center is in the restored Fordyce Bathhouse.
The facilities sported all the modern conveniences of the 1920's.
Talk about steamy.  These hot steam cabinets looked a little too intense to us.
This was part of the area where the women laid in wraps to let their bodies cool slowly.
The men's area was a little fancier than that offered to the women.
Above the fountain in the previous picture is this nice stained glass ceiling.
The showers looked a little intimidating.
This was the place for massages and special electrical treatments.  Shocking!
Again, the men's locker area was far nicer than the women's counterpart.
After their baths and massages the bathhouse patrons enjoyed this luxurious lounging area.

The Garvan Woodland Gardens were spectacular.
Obviously it was not fall, but these leaves offered a nice canopy.
This is called the Moon Bridge.
These folks were feeding the Koi.  The fish were huge so this is apparently a common practice.

Each president customizes the Oval Office to their tastes.  This is a replica of Clinton's Office.
Looking through a window at the Clinton Library offered a nice view of Little Rock.
This is the River Rail electric street car that plies the streets of Little Rock.
The Old Statehouse was the site of Pres. Clinton's 1992 & 1996 victory celebrations.
We thought this county building was very interesting.
