We rode along the carriage paths and stopped here at Eagle Lake in Acadia NP.

A view from the top of Cadillac Mountain. At 1532 ft. it is the highest point on the eastern seaboard.
This is the 7/8 mile walk out to the Rockland Breakwater LH. With widely spaced rock slabs it is a little tricky.
The Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse is worth the walk when the fog lifts.

On one day we drove up the Maine coast to easternmost point in the U.S. at West Quoddy Head.
And here is barber-striped West Quoddy Lighthouse. It almost doesn't need a light!
