Our new motorhome - Monaco Diplomat
Shortly after we arrive at in Elkhart we are treated to a rainbow. Could our MH be at the end of it?
Our new Monaco Diplomat and the Mirage parked side-by-side for the "move". MH=41', Mirage=32'
This is driver's cockpit. Lots of dials, switches and stuff to figure out. Not while driving though!
This is the lap of luxury. The copilot can put her (his?) feet up and enjoy the ride.
This is the driver's or "street" side of the MH. A comfortable chenille sofa and small dinette.
The passenger or "curb" side sports a nice leather sofa and kitchen.
It has a smallish kitchen, but the pull-out pantry was a big selling point for us.
The curved shower looks good and provide plenty of room for the big guy.
A second sink (and another big selling point) is in the toilet area.
Drawers and cabinets abound in the bedroom. Notice the seating area. It gathers more stuff than seats...
The queen size bed with plenty of room for Bill. Lots of lights AND a ceiling fan (big selling point!)
Looking from back to front before we moved in.
Looking from back to front after we got all of our stuff in. Susan is diggin' it!
Same view as it is today (5/21). It is now "home".
Our first campground in the new rig. This is at Elkhart 4-H Fairgrounds Campground.
The MH waits for Kermit to get a hydraulic braking system for towing.
Next door a proprietor shows off some of the cars on which he is working. This is an older Rolls Royce.
He only works on the best cars. This one is a Silver Cloud Rolls Royce of course.
Here we are stopped for the night at "Camp" WalMart in Mt. Pleasant, PA.
This WalMart has something that few do... a view! This is on the morning before we head to Gettysburg.
