Quebec, Canada
This was our not too fancy location for the few days we were in Quebec.
On a sunny day like the one we had, Quebec provides many picture moments like this.
A picture of Bill with an old hotel growing out of his head.
A view of Quebec from the hillside of the citadel.
Between these buildings is the funicular that people ride from the Upper Town to the Lower Town and back.
Quebec has many interesting views including this one of tops of different structures.
A typical old Quebec City street complete with horse-drawn carriage.
Nestled between the buildings is the occasional art piece.  This one was fun.
Another interesting group of buildings.
From the upper reaches of Quebec there are nice views of the surrounding area.
One of the old gateways into the city.
This is the parliament building.
Joan of Ark Park was quite pretty with many
flowers in bloom.
Not quite sure what this building was, but it was interesting.
This was as close to the inside of the citadel that we got.  They wanted $10/person so we left.
Notre Dame of Quebec.
It was quite impressive inside the church.
We imagine that organ can fill the place with sound.
We traveled about 7 miles from Quebec to see Montmorency Falls.
The falls are impressive.
From the bridge crossing the falls you can see the lower viewing platform and its scary access.
Also from the bridge crossing the falls you can see the Saint Lawrence River.
Basilica Sainte Anne de Beaupre was another stop during our travels near Quebec.
The rear of the cathedral was as impressive as the front.
While in the area of Fredericton we stayed at Mactaquac Provincial Park.
These guys were standing in front of the information center.  Hmmm.. they wouldn't tell us why.
Along our travels there is always time to stop at another farmer's market.
Fredericton is the capitol of New Brunswick and this is the Justice building.
An 18th century Officer's Square and Military Compound in the town.
We came across another church during our walk around town.
Susan with a small lighthouse in the background.
Bill on the pedestrian bridge crossing the Saint John river.
We stopped in Summerside on PEI for lunch at Sharky's  before touring the island.
PEI has many fields and farmlands with interesting shades of green.
Around every turn there seemed to be another great view.
The Cavendish Boardwalk and the cow on the building caught our eye and we stopped like many others.
We walked along the Cavendish Beach Dunelands trail.
Pretty sights along the trail.
The trail brought us to a red rock area near Cavendish Beach.
Lots of folks were visiting the beach on our visit.  No wonder the weather was great!
Susan had to wet her feet in the (relatively) warm waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
There are no shortage of interesting lighthouses in Canada. We took pics of many.
St. Mary's Catholic Church at Indian River.
Nice lighthouse pic Susan.

Beautiful.
Ooohhh...
Ahhhh...
During our travels we came across kids sliding in the mud.  Must make their mom's a little tense.
