Verona, NY
We stayed at Turning Stone RV park, a lovely resort operated by the Oneida tribe.
This was a pond for fishing and there was another for paddle boats.
We had a big rain storm upon arriving. Some of the rain found its way inside of the rig.  Not cool.
We met Ralph and Jeanne in Florida and they joined us here.  They live in Rochester, NY.
Bill and Jeanne are listening to one of Bennie's crazy stories.
Ralph, photography enthusiast, provides Bonnie some insight on the intricacies of her camera.
Some new friends we met at Turning Stone, Fran & Joe, drove us to their favorite fish fry hangout.
After dinner we strolled down to the nearby lake to watch the sunset.
Fran is very much a warm weather person, so the cool, mountain evening air chilled her.
Susan is a happy strawberry picker in a local U-Pick berry field - 1 for the basket, 2 for the tummy.
This is a lock along the Erie Canal. We walked along the canal until the biting bugs convinced us to leave.
The Oriskany Monument marks the site of a battle in 1777 one of the bloodiest of the American Revolution.
We rode our bikes along the Erie Canal where scenes like this were common.
Upstate New York has grapes.  We visited some of the wineries in the region during our visit to the Finger Lakes.
The meeting place of the First Women's Rights Convention was held here at Wesleyan Chapel.
Inside the Women's Rights Nat'l Historic Park visitor's center is a sculpture depicting the convention attendees.
Upstairs there was a lot of information regarding the plight of the women's movement over the years.
Watkins Glen State Park was a beautiful place.  This is the "Sentry Gate" entry to the gorge.
Around every turn there were impressive views of falls and carved rock.
The gorge is about 400 ft. deep and this is one of the more impressive waterfalls in the park.
This picture was taken from behind one of the many waterfalls.
Glaciers carved out the gorge and water shaped it.
Another great picture of the scenes here.
Can you tell that we enjoyed our hike?
Susan at the start of our hike to the top of Bald Mountain in the Adirondack Mtns.
Some nice folks took our picture along the trail to the top of the mountain.
We sat at the top of Bald Mountain and enjoyed the views and lunch with others doing the same.
From the peak of Bald Mountain we had a great view of the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
