Roy, WA
This was our home site at Sue & Mike's house in Roy.  It was a tight fit for the motorhome, but we shoehorned 'er in.
On 8/18 Mike & Sue guided us on a trip to Mt. Rainier.  We stopped to look at this river fed by glaciers.
On our way up to Mt. Rainier we stopped at this lookout.  The clouds brought a mystical feel to the views.
Unfortunately, "the mountain wasn't out", as the locals say, and this is all we saw of Mt. Rainier.
We toured the Museum of Glass in Tacoma's Museum District.  Think Dale Chihuly.
This is the Hot Spot in the museum where the artist create their masterpieces.
Here are a few "contraband" pictures of the glass art.  Photos aren't allowed.
Beautiful work from creative minds.
Another art creation.
Dale Chihuly's Bridge of Glass crossing the railroad and freeway.
Expensive art creations by Chihuly were on display along the walk across the bridge.
On the other side of the freeway was Union Station where more of Chihuly's work is on display.
