Home sweet home at Aces High RV Park in East Lyme.
We ate a nice lunch at the S&P Oyster Company in Mystic.
We met some nice folks who agreed to take our picture on the Mystic River Bascule Bridge.
This is downtown Mystic.   Quaint, but not too exciting.

Canal Street was named for the a canal built in the early 19th Century linking Mystic and Lowell, MA.

We found Mystic Pizza (made famous by Hollywood) - but no Julia Roberts.  Bill was disappointed.
We met up with our friends Fran and Michael, and lunched in Stonington.
We just couldn't leave without a few more shots of the Mystic River.
The river in the late afternoon light was incredibly beautiful.
The Stonington Lighthouse and Keepers cottage, now a museum, was built in 1840.
The octagonal Lynde Point Lighthouse in Old Saybrook guides ships along the Connecticut River.
