We stayed in Gull Point Campground at Wickiup Reservoir with friends Sheri and Allen Hubbard.

All of us are outside reading e-books on our Kindles.  Geeks...

Mt. Bachelor can be seen from Wickiup Reservoir.  Fishing was slow so we did a lot of looking around.

Susan asked me to strike a proud pose. These were the only fish caught by our group while here. Sad...

This is a view of one of the arms of the reservoir fed by the Deschutes River.

We kayaked down the Deschutes River towards Wickiup.

Susan decided to try flying the new kite we got again on a day the winds were more brisk.

After Wickiup Reservoir we traveled  short distance to neighboring East Lake.

Susan and I hiked up a nearby mountain to get a better view of the area - and phone reception.

This is Paulina Lake and it is only a few miles west of East Lake.
