We camped at the attractive Desert Gardens RV Park south of Florence for about a month.
We have stayed at this RV park before and it is a great desert setting with pretty sunsets.
This picture doesn't do justice to the many displays of wildflowers throughout the area.
The saguaro cactus bloomed profusely during our time here.
Even the small saguaros put out some nice blooms.
As most of you know we bought a home in the Del Webb Sun City (over 55) development in Florence.

This is a beautiful community.  Even the drainage area near our home looks great.
We have a 48,000 s.f. Union Center devoted to exercise, entertainment, pools, and much more.
The Union Center is surrounded by a top-notch golf course.
There is a nearby Parkside development devoted to all ages.  They have their own fantastic facilities too.
There are many events at the Union Center.  We attended the annual Hawaiian Luau replete with hula dancers.

During our time in Florence Susan flew back to Sacramento for her annual trip to Bodega Bay.
