West Sacramento, CA
We stayed at ML and Joyce's home in West Sacramento for a month. They were great hosts.  Thanks!
Bill gets a ride with ML.  We learned a lot about horses and ranch life while here.
Linda (the horse) took Susan out for an evening stroll.
Ginger (Bill's sister) & Chris took us sailing in the San Francisco Bay.  It was a nice day, but a little cool.
Ginger gets ready to unfurl the main sail.
Chris offered Bill the chance to sail the boat.  Bill is seen here striking a confident pose for the camera.
This is the construction on the new Bay Bridge in Oakland.  Everyone is impressed with the scale of it.
Unfortunately Bill wasn't paying attention and now is heading for a bridge abutment.  Be afraid... very afraid.
Joyce, Linda and Susan drove to South Dakota.  Susan renewed her driver's license while in the area.
Carving this sculpture out of a mountain of granite was an incredible undertaking.
Sylvan Lake is in the Black Hills area of South Dakota near Custer.  This lake is a gem.
While the Honda gets washed, Joyce poses with her newest friend.  Bobby Bison.
As the traveling trio make their way to Yellowstone, they stop by Devil's Tower in Wyoming.
This is the rustic Old Faithful Inn completed in 1904.  It has an immense lobby with a huge stone fireplace.
Of course, animals and, in particular, bison are seen throughout the park.
Some antelope having breakfast.
The ever popular "begging burros".  No reason to get out just hand them food through the window.
An Elk with an attitude.
The view from Artist's Point another "must see" feature of the park.
Colorful, smelly, bubbling geysers remind you that you are standing in a caldera.
Ya just don't see this in very many places in the world.  Awesome.
Speaking of awesome, the Tetons are inspiring.
The Snake River winds through the gorge below.  I wonder how Susan drove over this bridge.
The ladies get back to Sacramento and its time to do laundry.  How does one select the delicate cycle?
