The construction of our home
We selected the Newport model with the European elevation.
The floorplan.  It is 1816 sq. ft. in size.
Behind us is a layout of the Del Webb development.
Here you can see where our neighborhood is in relation to the main facilities. It is in easy walking distance.
And here is our little lot.  The front of our home will face northeast or towards the top of this picture.
Here is our lot and this picture is looking due north (from the back of the lot to the front).
This is another back to front view, but looking more east.
Interesting that they painted the house lines over a dirt pile.  I hope this goes well...
The foundation is beginning to take shape.
This is the layout for a post tension slab foundation. It is stronger to handle desert soils.
These steel lines are drawn tight under great pressure and then the concrete is poured.
The slab is getting close to completion here.
The wood is here.
Now use your imagination.  This is looking from the dining room towards the entry door.
Our future den entry way.
Looking towards the kitchen and curved bar area.
The front.  Hey we need a roof!
Ahh, there is the roof.  The construction is moving quickly.
This view is from front on the garage side of the house.
From the rear of the house looking at the master bedroom bay window and rear porch.

The kitchen of course.  Notice the black outlets? They were supposed to be white/almond.
The area for the entertainment center is to the right and the den is through the opening.
Another look at the kitchen.
The nook and if you look through the door to the right you can see the washer/dryer.
Dining room and sliding door to the back yard.
Looking from the dining room back towards the front door.
