RV Parks sometimes do not have good power. Power pedestals can be wired wrong, voltage can spike too high or drop too low. These conditions can do damage to sensitive electrical systems. This device monitors these situations and will not let power in to the coach if it is not within the proper parameters.

Tire pressures on the motorhome and Honda are critical to safe operation. This device constantly monitors for any rapid drop or increase in pressures. Hopefully this allows enough time to pull off the road before any damage is done.

Our diesel engine is a Cummins ISL 400. It came from the factory with a fan the runs all of the time drawing up to 40 HP from the engine. This fan upgrade stops the constant running of the fan and only turns it on when the engine temperatures require additional cooling. The result is better fuel mileage, more horsepower and less noise.

We had two solar panels installed by AMSolar in Eugene, OR in July, 2008. We had solar panels on our previous 5th wheel and they provide quiet power to charge the batteries while not hooked to power. We can now leave the motorhome without fear the batteries will run down.

The motorhome has hydraulic jacks used to stabilize and level the rig. With the weight of the motorhome (33,000 lbs.) the jacks can sink into soft surfaces. These jack pads eliminate this problem. Wood can be used for the same purpose, but it breaks down under the weight of the rig.

BBQ cooking is one of our favorite ways to prepare food. This BBQ is great for that purpose. It leaves those great grilling marks on food that you see in restaurants and the flavors are wonderful. Mmmm...

Garmin 2730 GPS
|
When traveling in our Ford F250 we navigated unfamiliar cities using our laptop. With the purchase of our Honda CR-V we no longer have enough room for the laptop so we purchased the Garmin 2730 to help us with navigation. It is small and easy to move between the motorhome and car. It is quite a useful tool for travelers.

Satellite Internet Dish
|
This is the device that makes this website a possibility. It is a large 24" x 38" dish with a large feed arm sticking out from it mounted on a tripod. You can see it in some of our pictures. It receives both our Internet and satellite TV service. The signal is fed to a special modem in the motorhome that is hooked to our wireless router. Very cool and very connected!

Canon Scanner
|
This is a very thin, high-tech looking scanner. While it is lightweight in size it is a heavyweight in capability. Also, it is powered by a USB port, so no extra power cord/box is needed. It is the Canon eLide 80 scanner for anyone interested.
